I don't think the MPC can hang in this regard. Take care though -- a lot of the mangling at this level with OT are largely "live only" because it can be crazy complicated to script midi events for what you want -- which implies you'll probably be resampling anyway. Maybe this is still the right thing for your workflow, maybe not.
